Classes begin Sept, 2018 ! Every Tuesday Evening 06:30 PM to 07:30 PM
Guru Smt. Prathyusha Nair started learning dance under her mother and Guru Dr. Smt. P Rama Devi at the age of seven and has trained under her for eighteen years. She has completed her certificate and diploma course in Kuchipudi dance conducted by Potti Sri Ramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad. She has performed lead roles in many of her gurus ballets and is currently teaching as teacher of Sri Sai Nataraja Academy of Kuchipudi dance, for the last 7 years. The dance academy as well as Mrs Nair are members of the prestigious organization: International Dance Council,Paris.
Rules to be followed
As the classes are going to be held in the Temple premises, all the rules of the Temple need to be strictly followed.
The Temple is not responsible for any injuries sustained by students due to any accidents/mishaps while at the temple. However, first aid will be rendered on request.
The Temple is not responsible, if a student loses money or any article.
Students and their parents are expected to respect the temple's property. They should not write or scratch on the desks, chairs, walls or doors of the school nor should they damage the property of
others.
Any damage done to temple property must be paid for by the offender.
Students are forbidden from bringing expensive and dangerous material to the temple building.
Parents please make sure students wear comfortable pants that reach below the knee, a kurthi (no sleeveless please), and a dupatta to tie around the waist. Please kindly follow the dress
code strictly to maintain discipline in the temple class.
Please tie your hair in a knot (no loose hairs)
The student should bring a water bottle and a notebook to class every week.
Fees are charged monthly and not per class basis. Kindly pay your fees on
the 1st class of the month. Please understand that no part of the fee will be refunded. You pay the full fees even if you miss a class. So, please do make every effort to attend the classes.
The classes begin in September and end in June. There will be no classes during the Spring break, Thanksgiving and New Year holidays. Classes may be cancelled during inclement weather conditions.
There will be make- up classes only if a class is cancelled by the teacher and not when the student misses a class.
Please drop your kids on time and please, do not be late to pick your kids up. Parents are requested not to stay in the classroom
to avoid the students from getting distracted. If you have any questions for the teacher, please feel free to call or email the teacher.
